I know that you wanted everything to go smooth.
Sorry that I couldn't ever quite get in the groove.
Didn't mean to leave you, I hope that you don't hate me.
But all the signs around me said I wouldn't live another day.
And of course creeps had to move in and ruin our evening.
I smoked too much to compensate, and then had trouble breathing.
Dude started to unload all of his newly stolen mail.
Asked us to watch over it, then we knew that we had to bail.
Wandered into the night, away from our abandoned garage.
By now we're both hallucinating and it's getting hard to judge,
the real from imaginary, as bugs crawl out our drug scars.
Shape-shifting creatures that perhaps came straight down from Mars.
Sitting at the bus stop and contemplating our next move.
It suddenly becomes apparent, that we were both just born to lose.

A totally enjoyable collection of raw and glorious analog synthesizer sounds. This is definitely my cup of coffee! Strangely thrilling and soothing at the same time, very pleasing to my brain. Hal McGee

A very soothing experience which I find is great for meditation. Offers a diverse set of tones throughout the album. This evokes different emotional experiences which I always appreciate in an album. andyhorry
Melissa Harris’s shadowy synthpop is carefully crafted and delightfully catchy, gems that reflect darkness and light in equal measure. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 1, 2019
